Bob and Lynn Shaffer are the owners of ABC Rentals located at 4519 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota and 5352 Gulf Dr., Holmes Beach. They are the parents of five children and very proud grandparents!

They came to Sarasota from Buffalo, New York. As business owners for many years up north, they used they expertise to start ABC rentals in 2002. They started out small, determined to build a company based on quality service and products. Baby equipment is constantly changing. It is so important to do research into new products before introducing them to your customers. It is also imperative to be aware of changing federal safety standards. When the latch system was introduced on new car seats, all of ABC's car seats were replaced to meet the new standards. And when drop side cribs were banned, Bob and Lynn replaced all 200 cribs with compliant cribs.

Bob's business knowledge and customer service skills have been key in growing the business to where it is today. One customer recently commented "Bob is always smiling. He never seems to have a bad day."

Lynn's attention to detail and uncompromising standards drive ABC rentals to always be the best. "I want ABC Rentals to be the standard by which all other rental companies are measured. Our customers deserve the best!"

Bob and Lynn plan to continue to expand ABC Rentals to be able to serve a growing customer base. They are "hands-on" owners who are involved in every facet of the business. They are determined to keep the integrity of ABC Rentals as it continues to build. The face of ABC Rentals may change, but not the philosophy on which it was built.
